As some of you may know, I’ve been working with a photography mentor since January. One of the recent suggestions is to change my company name to something less complicated (“Belle Femme Boudoir Photography by Tricia Bennett” is pretty long). Not only is the name long, but by using “Boudoir” I’m limiting what I do in the consumers’ mind. I also produce beautiful portraits of women with all their clothes on

I’ve been thinking about simplifying recently and have been brainstorming a new name to meet two important criteria: 1. uses my own name and 2. identifies what I do. There are a few names I’m testing and running through corporate name searches and I’m excited about the new possibilities this change will bring.

Once I’ve finalized my new name and roll it out, I’ll be sure to announce it and invite all of you to celebrate with me. Stay tuned for the big reveal.
